Since opening the Wiregrass 2-1-1 Call Center July 2008 through April 2013, residents in the Wiregrass have made 59,704 calls to 2-1-1 for assistance. 107,547 referrals to agencies & programs that can help in the Wiregrass were provided for those calls.
Wiregrass United Way 2-1-1 provides information and referrals to residents in seven Southeast Alabama Counties: Barbour, Coffee, Covington, Dale, Geneva, Henry, and Houston.

Wiregrass United Way has only 2 employees and utilizes 20 wonderful volunteers annually to provide assistance to residents in the Wiregrass.
